The spacious harbor-view suite provided fine vistas. The room had too much light at night.

1. The warm welcome and the sign welcoming me back again. It impressed my wife that they took the trouble to check if I had stayed there before. The backbone of the hotel is their staff - they are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make you feel at home(this comes from my wife staying here for the first time especially after a bad experience in Maseru last month) I always stay at this hotel when on a business trip to the Southern Cape and would recommend it as a place to stay to anyone. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it for another night and only checked out on Monday the 10/05

Like it or leave it? Here's my verdict
The hotel's decor is both modern and warm! Spacious rooms come with beautiful views and home made cookies in the evening added a lovely personal touch.
Strong light in the rooms at night disrupted sleep! Noise from other rooms and corridors was sometimes bothersome, hindering a peaceful experience.

The hotel is located in the centre of town. We had a lovely room overlooking the harbour. The room was more of an apartment, with a separate lounge, kitchen upstairs bedroom and downstairs bedroom. The bathroom was huge with a very large jacuzzi bath. Mossel Bay is quiet with its main attractions being golf and water sports

Nothing, it was a town with nothing to do and it was very ugly too. The town looked like it had been popular in the 80's, and was no a bit like a ghost town.
We have a baby, crawling around, and the carpet was so dirty that we could not let him bee on the floor. We had payed for 2 nights and we wanted to leave after one. They did not refund the money for the last night with the argument that it was a cheap rate. The hotel was not cheap compare to what I got other places on the garden rout.

The most important - marvellous and stunning location in the local area at night time. Adjacent to the harbour, and 2 fantastic restaurants. New-fashioned double room with all necessary amenities❤
Quite poor breakfast.

A very warm reception upon arrival with a tasty welcome drink and a good upgrade to a spacious presidential suite, complete with an excellent bathroom and fine harbor views. Enjoyed delicious meals at Cafe Gannet, the hotel's restaurant, known for its fresh seafood and excellent service. The proximity to the beach and the gin school experience was an added treat.
Minor noise disturbances.

The friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the excellent resturant. Also the central location in Mossel Bay with easy access to all roads leading to the Garden Route or Cape Town.

Staff are well trained. They went the extra mile to make me feel welcome and comfortable.
Security shows some weakness.

A gin lover's paradise!
Had a blast at the gin creation class with the staff. Vernol and Ronnie were super fun and really into it! It was such a cool experience, and we even got to take home our creations. The only hitch was the limited number of parking spaces, so make sure to book one in advance if you can.
